As most forum posts will show tell you with a little searching is that the voltage regulator/rectifier on Yamaha motorcycles will eventually go bad. Thankfully an hour or two is all it takes to replace this part.
I figured my rectifier was going bad as when I would drive at night my headlights brightness was changing as the RPM’s increase or decreased. This would take a few minutes to kick in since the rectifier either had to get warm to start failing or would get jostled.

After owning my bike for a number of years I finally went ahead and decided to change out the rear fender and put in a turn signal integrator. As long as I was changing the lights out on my bike I also went ahead and changed out the front turn signals to some “flush” Mounts as well. I order my rear turn signal integrator from CustomLed since they seemed to have a pretty decent price on the lights. I also made sure to get a new relay since I was removing all bulbs from turn signals and was going all leds.
The instructions from CustomLed were of a vary high quality so following them was a breeze. Of course the actual implantation of those instructions is something else entirely.

So after two days of having my new blue leg hermit crab stuck in a hole with the red tip hermit crab hanging on the end of the shell sticking out, I decided enough was enough and knocked the red tip hermit crab onto the sand.
The blue leg hermit crab then crawled out of the hole he was stuck in and started to eat so I thought everything was fine and dandy.
I checked on the tank a few minutes later and noticed the blue leg racing along the tank with the red tip standing close by. I separated them again and sure enough the red tip hermit crab was cornering the blue leg hermit crab. It sure didn’t seem it was going to be a friendly greeting with how frantic the blue leg was acting.
